The Tenda HG1 is a compact and high-performance XPON ONU (Optical Network Unit), designed for next-generation fiber-optic broadband networks. It features 1 x SC/APC XPON interface (compatible with both EPON and GPON standards), delivering blazing-fast speeds with upstream rates up to 1.25Gbps and downstream rates up to 2.5Gbps — making it ideal for high-speed internet, HD video streaming, and online gaming. The HG1 comes with ITU G.984.1, G.984.2, G.984.3, and G.984.4, enabling broad GPON network compatibility, and enabling OMCI remote management for bandwidth management and bulk remote management, which allows complete remote control without user participation via OMCI (G.984.4 and G.988).
